Similar to last year, I have decided to make an unofficial badge for the 36th Chaos Communication Congress in Leipzig.

Last year was a simple electronic circuit, this year it’s just a few addressable LEDs and some prototyping area in a “Bring Your Own Controller” setup and hopefully we will see a lot of different ways to blink LEDs with everything from Arduinos to FPGAs in a small battery driven setup like an electronic badge.

I have added a few tips and tricks in addition to a quick rundown of how I am controlling the LEDs on my badge on the 36c3 badge project page and if you would like your own, come say hi at Congress, I’m bringing a few kits.
